when you work on the exact concept that your client has instructed you to do-send them a comp of it and they say it's awesome and to proceed with what you're doing! then you finalize the concept & send it for review, they then say that it's not really what they wanted/want a new concept. FRUSTRATING

Client demanding I make revisions today, on Thanksgiving even though they said they won't be available until Monday because they are out of town for Thanksgiving. What?!

After signing a contract agreeing that all comps would have a watermark on them, only to be removed after final payment, my client just sent me a nasty email saying he would find another illustrator if I didn't take off the watermark on the first version I sent. So much for contracts?

I just hung up with a client who kept saying, "Just stretch it!" (in regards to text placement). And, I said, "You mean space it out?" He replied, "No! Streeetch it... like make the letters wider, but not taller!" He was so offended when I said, "Uh... no!" (YOU KNOW WHAT I REALLY WANTED TO SAY!!!)

If you remove one page in a spread, replace that page with something new or remove the entire spread! What a mess!

I had a client ask me at one point if I was using the "latest version" of the internet.

200 page catalog with 4-6 products to a spread -- 3rd proof and they now want to take out a product at the beginning and reflow everything up accordingly. ugh.
